Cardivo guides
A daily pulse habit
This article is for general wellness education. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Camera readings in Cardivo are estimates. If you feel unwell or think you are having an emergency, contact emergency services and a clinician.
Heart rate is easy to over-interpret when you only open the app in a rush. A useful habit is boring on purpose: same chair, same time, a minute of stillness, then one measurement. That is how you see whether this week is calmer than last week — not whether Tuesday at 16:40 in traffic was “bad.”
A simple routine
- Pick a slot you already own: after brushing your teeth, after sitting down at your desk, or before bed.
- Put the phone down. Sit. Breathe out slowly a few times.
- Take one fingertip reading. Log mood in a word if you want.
- Stop. Do not stack five retries unless the first one clearly failed (finger slipped, walking, talking).
What to watch instead of a single spike
Look at several calm days. Cardivo’s journal and weekly views exist for that. Resting pulse for your age is a gauge on the latest reading, not a verdict on your health. If the trend is steadily high and you feel unwell, talk to a clinician with your log in hand.
